Sew Right Sewing School is located in Townsville, North Queensland, Australia and is owned and operated by Rhonda Roberts. The school caters for sewers from beginner to expert level, young or old. Classes are conducted both day and evening with various classes such as Tailored Jacket, Heirloom Blouse, Lingerie and children’s clothes, as well as basic dressmaking and overlocking classes. Classes are also run for school children during some school holidays and weekend workshops are scheduled regularly. Hand embroidery classes are also held regularly. A Machine Club is held every month for demonstrations and workshops on new techniques and products and news on the latest happenings in the world of Sewing. Our Embroidery Clubs for owners of Brother and Bernina Embroidery Machines meet every second month.
We have a small range of fabrics and stock McCalls patterns and the Prym range of haberdashery. We stock the Brother and Bernina range of sewing and embroidery machines and P-Touch labelling machines. Repairs and service to most brands of sewing machine and overlocker are carried out on the premises.
